Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and offered great views of the Eiger, providing a nice view of the square and the Eiger North Face. The service was exceptional, going above and beyond to make my trip enjoyable. The location couldn't be better, right across the street from the train and bus station. The dining experience was hearty, with a variety of delicious options. Overall, a fantastic experience.
The hotel offers comfortable rooms with an excellent view of the Eiger from the balcony. The service is warm and accommodating, ensuring a memorable stay. The location is excellent, just a few steps from Grindelwald train station. Dining options are varied, but may not meet the expectations of a 4-star establishment.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean, spacious, and had a magnificent view from the balcony. The daily housekeeping was meticulous, and the balcony overlooking the street and mountains was so appealing. The service was top-notch with staff going out of their way to chat and assist. The location was perfect for us, being so close to the train station and offering great amenities like saunas and a hot tub. The dining experience had a nice variety of options to choose from.
My stay at the hotel was really great! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was convenient with easy access to transportation options. However, the dining experience could be improved, as some food items were not restocked promptly.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room, while large and comfortable, felt a bit small for me and my two kids. The beautiful antique wood-panelled dining room at the back of the hotel was lovely, but seating was limited. The service was mostly friendly and cooperative, except for one old man with white hair in the restaurant. The location was excellent with renovated saunas and easy access to transportation, but seemed more suitable for close-knit groups. The dining experience was pleasant overall, although some items were not refilled promptly in the dining room.
The hotel offers very nice rooms with a wonderful view of the Eiger and the Grindelweld coach park. The service was polite and attentive, providing a tray for breakfast to enjoy on the balcony. The location is excellent, with easy access to transportation and hiking trails. The dining experience was adequate but could offer more variety. Overall, a clean and well-equipped hotel with friendly service.
